Carvera Air is the easiest fit where containment and guided setup matter. Genmitsu 4040-PRO and FoxAlien Masuter Pro cost less but require separate guarding, dust control and more hands-on configuration.
The machine is not the whole footprint
Allow room for the door or gantry, a computer, stock, tool changes and extraction. Open routers also need a plan for chips, dust, noise and access control.
Decide where setup time belongs
Automatic probing and tool changing cost more upfront but remove repeated manual steps. Open GRBL machines trade convenience for price, access and upgrade choice.
